GUI Mode

GUI Mode is the visual authoring surface for Survey Editor. Use it when survey authors need compact block management, question settings, options, attributes, logic buttons, and style previews without editing raw HTML.

GUI source-of-truth rule

GUI Mode must write back to the same canonical HTML DSL source used by HTML Mode. A GUI-only field is incomplete unless it survives the GUI to HTML to reload round trip.

Screenshot policy

GUI documentation uses screenshots captured from the actual running app. Source images live under content/assets/screenshots so future locale folders can reuse the same assets.
